SevaCow is dedicated to tackling the growing issue of stray cows in India, where thousands of abandoned cattle wander the streets due to economic hardship and lack of sustainable care options. These stray cows often suffer from malnutrition, injuries, and disease while also contributing to road accidents, waste pollution, and many public health risks. Although gaushalas (cow shelters) exist to provide refuge, many are overcrowded, underfunded, and unable to accommodate the increasing number of abandoned cows. SevaCow seeks to bridge this gap by raising awareness and mobilizing resources to support and expand gaushalas, ensuring that more cows receive proper care, nutrition, and shelter. Through collective action and community-driven efforts, SevaCow aims to create a future where no cow is left to suffer on the streets.
